The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jenkins.

Thai moves into the clinch successfully.
Thai scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Big Jenkins has been cut.

Thai's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Thai closes the distance and clinches.
Thai leaning against his opponent.
Jenkins goes for a takedown in the clinch but Thai prevents it.
Thai comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Jenkins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Thai avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Jenkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jenkins is fighting off a takedown attempt but Thai is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jenkins to the mat. Jenkins regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Thai is looking to stand up but Jenkins won't let him.
Thai works over Jenkins with some ground and pound from guard.
Thai lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Thai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Jenkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thai's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thai wants to stand and escape but Jenkins is having none of it.
Thai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jenkins's guard.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thai as he avoids it easily.

Thai is trying to trip Jenkins. He has hold of a leg but Jenkins is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Thai persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenkins has his hands on Thai's head, controlling the position.

Thai decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jenkins, up you get!
Jenkins has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thai finds it's way round the side to connect with Jenkins's head.
Thai doesn't manage to clinch there - Jenkins circles away.

Thai clinches up with Jenkins and pushes him back against the cage.
Thai lands a nice knee to the body.

Big Jenkins's cut is getting worse.

Thai gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Thai's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Thai stands up and waves to Jenkins to follow him.
Muay Thai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thai scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Thai, right into the meat.

Thai forces Jenkins back against the cage and clinches.
Thai lands a good knee to the midsection. Jenkins won't want to take too many of those.
Thai avoiding damage.
Thai connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jenkins's face.
Thai lands a knee to the head.

Jenkins is rocked!

Oh Jenkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thai has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Jenkins - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Thai, and another! Jenkins is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

A relieved looking Muay Thai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
