Russo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ku is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Russo misses with a low kick.
Russo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ku.
Ku uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Russo has time to react.

Russo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ku but Ku pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ku throws an elbow that misses. Russo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ku's guard. Nice move by Russo!
Ku seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Russo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ku is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Russo, into his guard.
Ku wanted to stand there but Russo had control of the position.

Russo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Ku frees his head nicely. Oh but Russo has switched to an armbar! Ku is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
