The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hughes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Snow keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Snow is looking to improve his position.
Snow preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snow is trying to maintain the position but Hughes is very close to passing his half guard.
Snow is trying to get back to full guard.

Hughes is working for a submission of some sort.

Snow gets back to full guard.
Snow seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Hughes preventing the sweep.
Hughes wants to pass the guard but Snow is keeping the position.
Snow has his hands on Hughes's head, controlling the position.

Snow looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hughes is defending well. Snow quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hughes has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Snow celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
