Bastos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mendez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Mendez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bastos is controlling him.
Mendez can't keep his opponent in guard - Bastos advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
