Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodger Joaquin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joaquin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Joaquin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pablo as he jumps to the side.
Pablo tries to clinch but Joaquin is having none of it.

Joaquin moves into the clinch.
Joaquin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pablo after a bit of a struggle.
Pablo Pablo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodger Joaquin.
Pablo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Joaquin prevents it.

Pablo has clasped his hands together around Joaquin's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Pablo misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Joaquin is squirming around, avoiding Pablo's attempts to control the action.
Joaquin tries to reverse the position but Pablo maintains control.

Pablo goes for an armbar but Joaquin turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Joaquin.
Joaquin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Joaquin passes Pablo's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Joaquin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pablo could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Joaquin has cracked it and Pablo is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Joaquin!
