Landeskog comes to the cage accompanied by Stockholm Syndrome - Muse. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stiegis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Stiegis misses with a double jab
and Landeskog counters with a straight right hand.
Stiegis attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Stiegis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Landeskog counters by clinching up.
Landeskog is working for takedown but Stiegis is calmly controlling the position for now.
Landeskog wants a takedown but no success here.

Landeskog lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stiegis can't keep his opponent in guard - Landeskog advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Landeskog wants to work for an arm triangle but Stiegis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
