The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melendez misses with a takedown attempt - Jaa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Melendez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jaa pinned against the ropes. Jaa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jaa jerks Melendez's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Melendez drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Jaa goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Jaa because Melendez was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
