Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason McGully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nando Rafael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 2, fighting out of New York, Nando Rafael!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafael lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
McGully takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McGully slips a straight right by Rafael.
Rafael changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Rafael darts in and clinches McGully up against the cage.

McGully breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and McGully counters with a one-two to the body.

Rafael lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Rafael tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McGully paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McGully takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nando Rafael seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rafael fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McGully has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McGully lands a jab.
McGully fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rafael fakes a jab and throws a low kick but McGully checks it well.
Rafael lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

McGully is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rafael sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

McGully is looking for a kimura but Rafael is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McGully to get the leverage.
McGully tries to stand but can't do so whilst Rafael controls his leg.
Rafael tries to get to full guard but McGully has control of the leg.
McGully wants to stand up but Rafael has a hold of him and won't allow it.

McGully seems to be looking for submissions.
McGully will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McGully wants to stand and escape but instead Rafael has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Rafael stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McGully swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGully looking for a guillotine here but Rafael defends easily.
Rafael not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Rafael must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Let's hope that Rafael has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nando Rafael was stalling too much, according to the referee.
No luck with that takedown attempt from McGully.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason McGully. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rafael throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McGully on the side of the head.

McGully stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Rafael is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down McGully rather than just go for the knockout.
McGully closes the distance and clinches up with Rafael, looking for a takedown. McGully pushes Rafael against the cage but Rafael circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rafael moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
McGully uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rafael.

McGully really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rafael creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends McGully's eyes rolling into the back of his head! McGully drops to his knees and Rafael pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
