Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Bomber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alek Krushnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The key to victory for Jordan Bomber has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Krushnov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bomber is breathing heavily.
Bomber wants to clinch up but Krushnov keeps it at a distance.
Bomber tries for a takedown but Krushnov circles away easily

and Krushnov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Krushnov.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bomber striking off his back but it's not causing Krushnov any problems.

Krushnov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bomber, up you get!
Krushnov throws a hook but Bomber blocks it.
Bomber has his takedown stuffed

so Krushnov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Krushnov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Krushnov is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Krushnov drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Krushnov seems to have locked his on tight now - Bomber screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Krushnov, as he picks up the win!
