Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Vallely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray's entrance music is make love not war baby. A fine choice. Vallely has chosen CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vallely loads up on a big right hand but Gray slips the punch.
Gray with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Gray displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vallely throws out the jab.
Vallely uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gray.
Gray avoids the body shot from Vallely.
Vallely misses with a straight right.
Gray thows a leg kick but Vallely checks it
and Vallely counters with a low kick, right behind Gray 's knee.
Vallely throws a body punch but Gray moves out of range.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gray controls Vallely momentarily but Vallely frees himself.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Gray will probably get the nod.

Vallely fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gray looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters circle momentarily. Vallely darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Gray shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vallely's guard.

Gray feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vallelys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Vallely clobbers Gray with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gray looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Vallely preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Gray throws a strike but Vallely rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mr Gray is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Gray is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Vallely avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gray.
Vallely is not content to let Gray control the position.
Gray is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Vallely reverses the position - he's now on top in Gray's guard.
