The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Banks makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Banks throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ramirez .

It looks like Alarcon Ramirez has been cut.

Banks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ramirez . That did some damage!

Banks lands a jab.
That kick from Banks tenderised Ramirez 's leg. Ramirez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Banks lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Banks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ramirez .
Banks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ramirez at a distance.

and Banks cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ramirez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Banks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramirez . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ramirez is pressing down on Banks's thigh, looking to free his foot. Banks is holding on for now.

and Banks counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Banks counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ramirez shoots in looking for a takedown but Banks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ramirez 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Banks counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ramirez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Banks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Banks buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Banks.
Banks lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ramirez takes a step back to recover.

Ramirez takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Banks lands a left and a right that send Ramirez crashing to the mat, dazed. Banks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ramirez is rocked!

Banks sends Ramirez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Banks is motioning to the referee to let Ramirez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Ramirez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banks lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Ramirez head around and knocks him out cold! Banks hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
