Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheldon Chaykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Maul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheldon Chaykin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sheldon Chaykin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Darth Maul!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maul gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Chaykin counters with a slapping leg kick.
Chaykin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Maul.
Maul shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chaykin pinned against the cage. Chaykin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chaykin slaps away a takedown attempt from Maul, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sheldon Chaykin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darth Maul.
Chaykin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Maul shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chaykin but Chaykin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Maul throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chaykin's waist but Chaykin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maul off to one side.
Maul throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chaykin.
Chaykin misses with a low kick.
Maul shoots for a takedown but Chaykin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chaykin moves out of range of the strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Chaykin as Maul shoots in.
Chaykin throws a head kick that half lands.
Maul is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Chaykin.
It looks like Darth Maul has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A solid leg kick lands there for Chaykin.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Maul thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chaykin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chaykin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Maul on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Maul looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Maul fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Maul looks winded!
Maul tries for a takedown but Chaykin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chaykin connects with a solid leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by Chaykin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Chaykin.
Chaykin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Good leg kick by Chaykin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Maul stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chaykin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A cross from Chaykin lands.
Chaykin connects with a high kick.
Maul shoots in but no luck this time.
Maul walks into a left hand.
Maul is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maul bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Chaykin comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Maul falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Maul was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sheldon Chaykin!
A pretty intense looking Sheldon Chaykin took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
