Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sai Fukuta!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fukuta scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rasmussen taking some punishment here, with Fukuta in his half guard.
Fukuta is looking to take a break and control but Rasmussen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fukuta is working for a kimura here but Rasmussen manages to reverse the position and he's now in Fukuta's guard.
Fukuta bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rasmussen's guard.
Rasmussen is breathing heavily.
Fukuta trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rasmussen's guard.
Rasmussen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rasmussen tries to get out of the position.

Fukuta thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rasmussen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fukuta on the ground.
Rasmussen keeping moving, preventing Fukuta from controlling successfully.

Fukuta tries to free his leg and advance position but Rasmussen is retaining full guard.
Fukuta working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fukuta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rasmussen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sai Fukuta wasn't active enough on the ground.

Fukuta fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rasmussen to the ground. Fukuta is now in Rasmussen's guard.
Rasmussen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rasmussen is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Fukuta just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Rasmussen has gone limp and this one is over!
