The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suck tries for a takedown but Staunton circles away easily

and Staunton counters with a crisp one two that drops Suck! Staunton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Suck to his feet! Suck is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suck with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Staunton to score with a decent uppercut.

Suck is rocked!
Staunton misses with a takedown attempt - Suck sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Suck missing with a left hand there. Staunton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Staunton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Suck moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
