Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menezes comes to the cage accompanied by Charlinho, o menino que só queria estudar - Hermes & Renato. Charles Menezes has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Aldo!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menezes shoots in but Aldo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Aldo gets caught napping as Menezes dives in and scores a takedown. Aldo manages to retain guard.
Menezes connects with a couple of short punches.
It looks like Junior Aldo has been cut.
Aldo keeping moving, preventing Menezes from controlling successfully.
Menezes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Menezes is looking to work some ground and pound but Aldo has wrist control.
Aldo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Aldo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Menezes with a flurry of punches that miss.
Aldo has momentary wrist control but Menezes slips an elbow through the middle.
That has opened up Junior Aldo's cut even more.
Menezes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aldo's head.
The cut above Junior Aldo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Junior Aldo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Charles Menezes!
