Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Martello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Morris is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Martello!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Morris!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Martello looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Morris throws a nice outside leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Morris.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morris.
Martello really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Morris shoots in for a takedown but Martello shows good takedown defense.
Martello looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morris is fending him off so far but Martello persists. Nope, Morris circles away and we're back to standing.

Martello is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Martello tries to score a body lock takedown but Morris shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Morris pushes off an throws an elbow but Martello leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

That's time! Martello's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Martello shoots for a takedown but Morris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Martello takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Morris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Martello. That did some damage!

Morris slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Morris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Martello pulls Morris in close to prevent any damage.

Morris postures up in Martello's guard and throws a big left but Martello blocks it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Morris counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Martello's guard now.
Morris wants to pass the guard but Martello is keeping the position.

Martello will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Morris passes into half guard.
Martello is refusing to be controlled, as Morris sits in half guard.
Martello is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Morris is looking for a kimura but Martello is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Morris to get the leverage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martello wants to control but Morris is keeping busy.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Morris lands a nice short elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuck Morris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Morris lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Morris. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morris lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Martello holds on and takes a little breather.

The fighters circle momentarily. Morris darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Morris changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Martello tries to clinch up but Morris circles away and keeps his distance.

and Martello connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Morris misses with an attempted mid kick.

Martello shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Morris is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Morris wants to control but Martello is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Max Martello.
Well Morris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
