Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Boban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boban comes to the cage accompanied by Ana Tijoux - 1977. Kirby is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Forgot about dre.. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boban throws a hook to the side of Kirby's head but Kirby sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kirby punishes Boban's body with a nice straight punch.
Boban takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kirby ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boban moves away.
Boban shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kirby as he jumps to the side.
Kirby dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kirby looks to land a combination but Boban avoids it well.
John Kirby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boban throws a leg kick but Kirby sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kirby lands a jab to the nose.
Kirby misses the jab.
Kirby looks to score with a jab to the body but Boban is just out of range.
Boban takes one to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boban walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kirby checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boban displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kirby throws out the jab.
Kirby jabs Boban right on the nose. Boban blinks but takes it well.
Boban thows a body shot but no joy.

Boban wants to clinch up but Kirby keeps it at a distance.
Kirby ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Boban closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Boban shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kirby uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boban.
Kirby throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boban on the side of the head.
A punch combination from Kirby misses.
Boban misses with a takedown attempt - Kirby sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boban. Kirby does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kirby throws out a loose jab but Boban uses good head movement to avoid it.

Boban wants to clinch.
Kirby fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boban on the side of the head.

Kirby bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boban avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Boban is rocked!
Kirby fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Boban to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Boban looks to clinch but Kirby throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Boban taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
