Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Honorius Trajan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabricio Carvalho has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trajan leaves Carvalho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Trajan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Fabricio Carvalho has been cut.
Trajan lands a glancing blow to the side of Carvalho's head.
Carvalho takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Trajan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Carvalho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
