Artur comes to the cage accompanied by Nightwish - Storytime. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artur shoots in looking for a takedown. Miguel tries to sprawl out of it but Artur keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miguel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Artur shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miguel but Miguel pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Artur gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Miguel counters with a shoot takedown. Artur fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marek Artur. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Miguel stands and steps away. Artur gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Miguel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Artur looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Miguel connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Artur some visible discomfort.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miguel has hold of Artur's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Artur tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Miguel cranks the arm and Artur screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Artur, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
