The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magney throws a sloppy head kick and Chaney moves out of range easily.
Magney shoots in looking for a takedown. Chaney tries to sprawl out of it but Magney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chaney manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Magney misses with a takedown attempt
and Chaney counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chaney.
Chaney is pushing down on Magney's leg trying to pass to half guard. Magney is fighting to maintain full guard but Chaney has managed to sneak the leg through.
Chaney wants to take a breather but Magney is having none of it.
Chaney prevents Magney from improving his position.
Chaney has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Magney defend it? Chaney steps over the head and cranks it - Magney is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Chaney!
