Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clinical Cpw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sepp Maier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cpw comes to the cage accompanied by Purple Rain. Maier comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Apaga mas não bate kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cpw jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cpw scoring well with a low kick there.
Maier shoots in but no luck this time.
Cpw misses with a low kick as Maier jumps back.
Maier shoots for a double leg takedown but Cpw sprawls well. He's pushed Maier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cpw connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Maier's hands.

Cpw is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Maier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cpw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maier throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cpw works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Cpw tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Maier wants to pass the guard but Cpw is keeping the position.
Maier is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Maier pushes a forearm under Cpw's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Cpw is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
