The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Laine.
Ives is breathing heavily.
Laine throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Ives bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Laine buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Laine comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Ives takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Laine cracks Ives with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Laine throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
