Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edson Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and peter Tremain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shadow of the Day. Edson Perry has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Perry swings for the body but Tremain moves out of range.
Tremain takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A punch combination from Perry misses.
Perry shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Perry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Danga de danga de dang - Perry scores with a four punch combination!
Tremain tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Perry swivels and escapes.
Perry stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Edson Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tremain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perry paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tremain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Perry circles away.
Edson Perry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of peter Tremain.
Tremain tries to clinch up but Perry circles away and keeps his distance.
Perry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Tremain is trying desperately to land a takedown but Perry is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tremain.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tremain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Tremain counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Perry's guard now.
Perry seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Edson Perry.

Tremain gets tackled into the cage by Perry. Perry maintains the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Perry takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Perry tries a body shot but Tremain blocks it.
Perry lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tremain backwards.

Tremain tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Perry just stands there and leans against the cage.

Perry is trying to push Tremain away but Tremain has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Perry lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tremain backwards.
Perry lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Perry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A leg kick checked by Tremain.
Perry digs a good hook to Tremain's body.
Tremain looks for a takedown but Perry sprawls well.
A punch lands to the side of Tremain 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Perry goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Tremain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Perry looks to land a combination but Tremain avoids it well.
Tremain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tremain tries to clinch but fails miserably
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Perry lands with a nice combination. Tremain backs away looking to recover.

Perry works the jab nicely.
Tremain is rocked!
Perry is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Tremain fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tremain seems to have recovered his senses.
Perry catches Tremain with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Perry throws an overhand right that drops Tremain like a sack of potatoes! Perry dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
