Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vecheslav Gurin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gurin comes into the arena with Dolphin - I Will Live blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Faber counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Faber is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gurin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Faber.

Faber is trying to work for a kimura but Gurin is defending well.

Faber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gurin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Faber is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gurin is just riding it out for now. Faber eventually gives up the hold.

Faber is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gurin defends it well.

Faber drops back looking for a leg! Gurin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gurin manages to kick Faber off! Faber jumps back into Gurin's guard.

Gurin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Faber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Faber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Faber rolls with it to try and escape but Gurin cranks on the arm and Faber is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
