The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Torres.
Walker explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Walker is looking to land body kicks.
Walker connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
No luck for Torres with that takedown attempt.
Walker tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Torres.
Brad Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of R I P Torres.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Torres fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walker avoids it really well and circles away.
Walker throws a leg kick but Torres sees it coming and checks it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Torres changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Torres manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Torres will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A nice leg kick lands there from Walker.
Torres looks winded!
Walker thows a body shot but no joy.
Torres takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Brad Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That kick from Walker tenderised Torres's leg. Torres is trying to keep his angry face on.
Walker throws a leg kick which misses Torres's front leg but catches the back leg as Torres tries to avoid it.
Walker bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Torres fails to land the takedown.
Walker throws a quick inside leg kick.
Walker connects with a solid leg kick.
Walker scores with a jab to the jaw.
Walker scores with a kick to the body.
Walker lands a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Torres wants to stay close but Walker steps back to make room for something. Torres seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Walker and Torres drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brad Walker!
Brad Walker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
