Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Conley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liquid Snake!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snake scores with a jab to the head.
Snake throws a lazy right hand but Conley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Snake loads up on a big right hand but Conley slips the punch.
Conley throws a front kick aimed at Snake's knee but Snake avoids it well.
Conley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Crunch! Conley slams his shin into Snake's torso.
Conley misses with an attempted mid kick.
Conley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Snake shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Conley's guard.
Snake in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Snake loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Snake passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ground and pound from Snake seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Snake tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Snake has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snake throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Snake swings around for an armbar but Conley sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Snake's guard.

Snake is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Conley defends well.
Snake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Snake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Conley trying to control but Snake is working from the bottom.
Conley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Conley stands and throws Snake's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snake managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Conley.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Conley with the ground and pound but Snake regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Snake is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Conley pulls his head out easily.
Conley wants to get back to his feet.

Conley throwing shots but Snake is blocking nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Conley stands up out of the half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snake misses the shot to the body.
Conley feints and then cracks Snake's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snake down.
Conley keeps Snake at a distance using the push kick.
Snake looks winded!
Conley scores with the left hand. Snake knows he should have avoided that one.
Nice body punch from Conley.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Conley.

Conley cracks Snake with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Snake looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Conley finish him?


Snake is rocked!


It looks like Liquid Snake has been cut.
Snake gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Conley points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Snake wakes up just in time to hear Conley thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rick Conley!
A very excited looking Rick Conley made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
