Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Trott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haiki Masatupo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Trott might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cochise - Audioslave. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masatupo shoots in and drives through. Trott sprawls well.
Masatupo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Masatupo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trott but Trott pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Trott sizes up Masatupo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Masatupo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Trott cracks Masatupo with an open hand slap.
Masatupo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trott.
Masatupo throws a head kick that misses
letting Trott counter with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Masatupo throws a right hand that Trott ducks under and follows up with a left that Trott also avoids with ease.
Trott swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Trott throws a hook but Masatupo avoids it easily.
Jonathan Trott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masatupo misses with a takedown
and Trott cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Masatupo is rocked!
Jonathan Trott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haiki Masatupo.
