Funke comes to the cage accompanied by never gonna stop. Woods has chosen Before I forget as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funke lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Jason Woods has been cut.

Funke drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
A lull in the action here.
Woods is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Funke has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Woods is letting Funke control him for a moment.
Woods is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Funke asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Funke passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Woods!
Woods wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Funke is landing with some decent strikes but Woods is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Funke with shots to the head and body - Woods looks very uncomfortable down there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Funke cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Woods is bucking up trying to escape but Funke cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Oooh a big shot lands for Funke! Woods is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
