Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heckli Koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnaldo Lanches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Heckli Koch has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Koch.

Koch closes the distance and clinches.

Lanches jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koch walks away with a smile on his face. Lanches gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Koch has managed to clinch.
Koch goes for a takedown attempt but Lanches pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Koch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lanches gets tackled into the cage by Koch. Koch maintains the clinch.
Koch will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lanches up against the cage.

Koch lands with a kick to the temple. Lanches shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Koch uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lanches.

Koch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lanches, pushing him back against the cage.
Koch keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lanches's efforts to push away.

Lanches jumps guard but Koch turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
A right hook to the body lands for Koch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Koch creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Lanches is trying to break the clinch but Koch is controlling him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koch is working for takedown but Lanches is calmly controlling the position for now.

Koch is trying to drag Lanches to the mat but Lanches just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Koch jumps guard and drags Lanches to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Koch has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lanches uses from the top position.

Lanches drops back looking for a leg! Koch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Koch manages to kick Lanches off! Lanches jumps back into Koch's guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Heckli Koch.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Koch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
