Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by PELIMUSA. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Reese!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reese explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez.

Reese turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sanchez scores with a head kick. Reese tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Reese fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sanchez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Sanchez has his foot on Reese's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reese works his way back into a safe position though.

Reese chips away with some ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reese accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reese can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sanchez has momentary wrist control but Reese slips an elbow through the middle.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Reese is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sanchez takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reese scores with a hook to the body. Sanchez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sanchez looks to land a combination but Reese avoids it well.

Sanchez has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Reese.
Reese tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanchez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sanchez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reese.

Sanchez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Reese lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sanchez will feel that in the morning.

Sanchez cracks Reese with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Reese lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sanchez enables Reese to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sanchez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Reese stands up over Sanchez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Reese stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Jose Sanchez.
Well Reese has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
