and Jones counters with a head kick that drops Ranger - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Still in half guard, Jones seems content to control.
Ranger is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ranger is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jones jumps into side control!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ranger can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ranger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
