The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Palavra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Palavra landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Palavra looks up at the clock and then as Tombo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Palavra smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palavra just content to control the position.

Palavra is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Tombo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Palavra gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Tombo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Palavra lets go of the hold and Tombo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
