Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Caudill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bilbo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caudill comes to the cage accompanied by Breaking Benjamin- Breath. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Caudill!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bilbo Baggins!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caudill tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baggins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Caudill gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Baggins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Caudill to the ground. Baggins is now in Caudill's guard.
Baggins throws an elbow that misses. Caudill uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Baggins's guard. Nice move by Caudill!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Baggins holds on and takes a little breather.

Baggins drops back, looking for a kneebar! Caudill looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Caudill looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Caudill!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caudill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Baggins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Baggins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Caudill has worked his arm free - good work by Caudill!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Caudill manages to work his way to half guard, despite Baggins's best efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Caudill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Caudill rushes Baggins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Baggins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Caudill fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Caudill shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Caudill throws a low kick but it's checked well by Baggins.

Baggins dives in and grabs Caudill's left leg, looking for a takedown. Caudill pushes down on Baggins's head and hops out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Baggins sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Caudill's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Caudill does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Horrible takedown by Baggins or perhaps it was just good defense by Caudill which made him look bad.
