The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a series of punches but Gonzaga moves out of range.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gonzaga pinned against the cage. Gonzaga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Gracie feints and as Gonzaga raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gonzaga swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gonzaga pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.

Gracie wants to pass the guard but Gonzaga is keeping the position.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzaga's waist but Gonzaga gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
