Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Javier Casados (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanma Bakki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanma Bakki struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakki throws a nice looking combination but Casados bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Casados checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Bakki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Casados won't be happy with that.
Casados tries to buck Bakki off but Bakki is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here as Bakki stalls from top position.

Bakki goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Casados rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bakki's guard! Nice work there by Casados!

Casados is pushing down on Bakki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bakki is fighting to maintain full guard but Casados has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bakki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bakki is looking to pass into half guard but Casados pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Casados is in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Casados accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bakki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Casados's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bakki connects with a nice short shot to Casados's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
