Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dwyane James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makunouchi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hajime no Ippo - Champion Road Intro. Ippo Makunouchi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Makunouchi digs a good hook to James's body.
James is trying hard to land a takedown here. Makunouchi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

James drops back looking for a leg! Makunouchi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Makunouchi manages to kick James off! James jumps back into Makunouchi's guard.

Makunouchi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

James drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. James seems to have locked his on tight now - Makunouchi screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for James, as he picks up the win!
