Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vince Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Richlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Richlin!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Richlin pinned against the cage. Richlin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Richlin misses with a straight right.

Richlin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Noir.
Richlin lands a really nice looking cross but Noir seems unphased.
Noir shoots for a takedown but Richlin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Noir shoots in looking for a takedown. Richlin tries to sprawl out of it but Noir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Richlin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Noir is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Richlin pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Richlin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Noir bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Noir keeps the fight on the outside.
Richlin lands a nice hook to Noir's body. Noir takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice combo by Richlin! Oh, that's hurt him - Noir falls to the canvas and Richlin follows him into side control.

It looks like Vince Noir has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Noir wants to hold on but Richlin pushes him away.
Noir is breathing heavily.
Noir is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Richlin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Noir is looking to improve his position but Richlin isn't that keen on the idea.
Noir seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Richlin avoids the attempt from Noir to control.

Richlin tries to control but Noir wriggling away.
Richlin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Richlin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Noir. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Richlin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Noir momentarily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Richlin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Richlin stuffs the takedown attempt from Noir. Noir gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Richlin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Noir uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Richlin.

Richlin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Noir, pushing him back against the cage.

Richlin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Noir looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Richlin is fending him off so far but Noir persists. Nope, Richlin circles away and we're back to standing.
Richlin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Are you kidding me?! Richlin ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Noir clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
