And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marty Evans!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naylor Jr wants to clinch

and Evans counters with a nice double leg into side control. Naylor Jr won't be happy with that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Evans trying to control the action but Naylor Jr is working from the bottom.
Evans misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Evans tries to advance to mount but Naylor Jr denies him.

Evans is trying to get an arm triangle but Naylor Jr is defending well.
Naylor Jr is not content to let Evans control the position.

Evans goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Naylor Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Evans but great work by Naylor Jr .

Naylor Jr throws a strike but Evans rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Evans drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Naylor Jr dives on top into guard.

Naylor Jr prevents Evans from getting back to his feet.
Evans keeping full guard, as Naylor Jr tries to pass.
Evans is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Naylor Jr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Naylor Jr is pushing down on Evans's leg trying to pass to half guard. Evans is fighting to maintain full guard but Naylor Jr has managed to sneak the leg through.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Evans closes the distance and clinches up with Naylor Jr , looking for a takedown. Evans pushes Naylor Jr against the cage but Naylor Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Evans drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Evans happy to just control the position for now.

Evans swings around for an armbar but Naylor Jr sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Evans's guard.

Evans wants to sweep but no luck.
Naylor Jr throws an elbow that misses. Evans uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Naylor Jr 's guard. Nice move by Evans!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marty Evans hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Evans shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Evans wants to control but Naylor Jr is keeping him busy.

Evans is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Evans takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Evans is keen to just control but Naylor Jr is a slippery customer.

Evans decides to stand up.
Nice sprawl there from Naylor Jr as Evans shoots in.
Liam Naylor Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marty Evans.

Evans gets tackled into the cage by Naylor Jr . Naylor Jr maintains the clinch.
Naylor Jr goes for a takedown attempt but Evans pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Evans drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Naylor Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Evans accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Evans sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Naylor Jr 's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marty Evans showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Evans fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Liam Naylor Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evans sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Evans shoots in but Naylor Jr avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Naylor Jr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Naylor Jr manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Naylor Jr 's guard.
Naylor Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evans's guard.
Evans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Evans is working for a kimura but Naylor Jr is defending it quite comfortably.
Marty Evans is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Evans is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Naylor Jr sees it coming and defends easily.

Evans is trying for a kimura here. Naylor Jr looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Evans wins by kimura!
