The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Faulk sprawls well. Faulk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barrett gets slowly back to his feet.
Barrett attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Barrett fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Faulk has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Faulk ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Barrett misses with a lunging right hand
and Faulk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Faulk scores with a hook to the body. Barrett takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Faulk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Faulk jabs Barrett to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barrett avoids the head kick by Faulk.
Barrett connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Faulk momentarily.
Barrett's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Faulk connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Barrett scrambles back to his feet.
Barrett takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Faulk counters with a nice low kick that buckles Barrett's knee momentarily.

Barrett ducks right into an uppercut from Faulk.
James Barrett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Faulk lands a glancing blow to the side of Barrett's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Faulk lands a nice hook to Barrett's body. Barrett takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Barrett closes the distance and clinches up with Faulk, looking for a takedown. Barrett pushes Faulk against the cage but Faulk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barrett is breathing heavily.

Faulk lands a left and a right that send Barrett crashing to the mat, dazed. Faulk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Barrett is rocked!
Nice body punch from Faulk.
Oh Barrett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Faulk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Faulk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Barrett seems to have got his legs back now.

Faulk cracks a nice hook into Barrett's ribs.

Faulk cracks Barrett with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Barrett looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Faulk finish him?
Faulk lands a nice looking kick to the body. Barrett takes a step back to recover.
Barrett sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Barrett takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Faulk lands a big right hand that sends Barrett crashing to the mat! Faulk stays standing though and waves Barrett back to his feet!
Barrett on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Faulk lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barrett at a distance.

Barrett leaves his chin hanging out and Faulk seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Barrett crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
