Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alter Ego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javier Roc is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roc uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ego.
Roc shoots in for a double leg but Ego sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Crunch! Roc slams his shin into Ego's torso.
Ego stuffs the takedown.
Ego throws a hook to the side of Roc's head but Roc sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ego closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ego misses with a body punch.
Ego's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ego seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Roc manages to break the clinch.
Ego throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Roc had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ego defends it easily.

Roc has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ego can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ego wants to get up but he can't break Roc's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close round but I would say that Alter Ego will probably get the nod.
