Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and john lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the Name. The key to victory for Dexter Rutecki has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rutecki takes the fight into the clinch.
Rutecki prevents the takedown attempt.
Rutecki lands an elbow inside that lee shrugs off.
Rutecki lands a nice elbow.
Rutecki pushes off an throws an elbow but lee leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from lee.
lee wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rutecki gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Rutecki can't break the clinch.
lee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rutecki lands an elbow just above lee 's eye.

lee shoots in for a double leg but Rutecki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

lee's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

lee has had enough of the clinch but Rutecki keeps him there for the moment.

lee is looking to control Rutecki's arms but Rutecki gets an underhook and turns him. Now lee has his back to the cage.
Rutecki lands an elbow inside that lee shrugs off.

Rutecki manages to break the clinch.
Rutecki is looking to wear down lee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and lee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rutecki won't be happy with that.
Rutecki pushes lee away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, lee gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rutecki wants to get back to his feet.
Rutecki is trying to control lee's posture but lee avoids it.

Rutecki is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, lee asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Rutecki takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Rutecki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
lee wants to take a breather but Rutecki is having none of it.
Rutecki is trying to stand.
lee scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
lee is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Rutecki reverses the position - he's now on top in lee's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

lee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rutecki's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee warns Rutecki that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
