The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry checks the leg kick.
Poe scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Cherry misses with a takedown
and Poe counters with a nice uppercut.
Cherry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Poe defends it nicely.
Cherry keeps the fight on the outside.
Cherry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Poe is fending him off so far but Cherry persists. Nope, Poe circles away and we're back to standing.

Poe feints and then cracks Cherry's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cherry down.
