The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Couture throws a series of punches but Davis moves out of range.
Couture moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Couture's waist but Couture gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.
Couture stuns Davis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Tito Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Couture throws a head kick that misses.

Couture feints and as Davis raises his hands in defense, Couture changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Davis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
