Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza misses with a two punch combination.
De Souza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Martial but Martial pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A jab lands there for Martial.
De Souza throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
De Souza looks to land a combination but Martial avoids it well.
De Souza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
De Souza misses with a takedown attempt - Martial sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
De Souza shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Martial fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. De Souza looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

De Souza takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
De Souza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Martial's guard.
Martial can't keep his opponent in guard - De Souza advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

De Souza wants to stand up but Martial has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Martial won't allow De Souza to pass to mount.
De Souza is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Martial is just riding it out for now. De Souza eventually gives up the hold.
De Souza perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

De Souza is keen to just control but Martial is a slippery customer.
Martial really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

De Souza tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Martial tries to get to full guard but De Souza has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

De Souza throws a series of punches but Martial avoids them all with ease.
Martial throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martial uses good head movement to avoid the hook from De Souza.
De Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Martial swivels and escapes.
De Souza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Martial moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Martial lands with a thumping leg kick.
De Souza shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Martial as he jumps to the side.

De Souza connects with a good right hand that stumbles Martial. Martial circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bonifacio Martial dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
De Souza takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Martial scoring well with a low kick there.
Martial misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ninho De Souza is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
De Souza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martial's waist but Martial gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing De Souza off to one side.
Martial is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down De Souza rather than just go for the knockout.

and Martial counters with a solid body kick.
Martial connects with a high kick.
Martial lands a glancing blow to the side of De Souza's head.
De Souza is rocked!
Martial cracks De Souza with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! De Souza falls to his knees and Martial doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
