Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dante Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flynn has chosen Kanye West- Amazing as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dante Durant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Flynn!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flynn jabs Durant to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Flynn explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Flynn looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Durant tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flynn controlling from the top position.
Flynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Durant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frank Flynn wasn't active enough on the ground.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Flynn.
Flynn throws a sloppy head kick and Durant moves out of range easily.
Durant misses with a takedown
and Flynn counters with a thumping low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Flynn.
Durant is breathing heavily.
Flynn thuds his shin into the meat of Durant's side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flynn dives in and grabs Durant's left leg, looking for a takedown. Durant pushes down on Flynn's head and hops out.
Flynn throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Flynn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Durant tries to avoid it but Flynn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Durant to the ground. Durant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dante Durant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Flynn.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flynn misses with a series of wild punches.

Flynn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Durant can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flynn controls the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Frank Flynn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Oooooh!!! Flynn has knocked Durant down with a huge combo! Flynn steps away and waves a wobbly Durant back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Durant is rocked!

It looks like Dante Durant has been cut.
Flynn throws a sloppy head kick and Durant moves out of range easily.

Flynn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Oh Durant is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Durant can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flynn controls the pace.
Durant seems to have got his legs back now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Frank Flynn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Flynn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Flynn throws a head kick but Durant moves out of range.

Flynn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Durant napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Flynn staying calm.
Durant is looking for a sweep.

Flynn decides to stand back up.
Durant fails with a takedown attempt.
Flynn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Durant as he jumps to the side.
Durant gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Flynn makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Flynn shoots in and gets a takedown into Durant's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Flynn dominated that round.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Flynn shoots in looking for a takedown. Durant tries to sprawl out of it but Flynn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Durant manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick by Flynn - that's a beauty! Durant is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Flynn can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
