Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canta scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Son missing with punches from the bottom.
Son wants to control but Canta is keeping busy.
Son looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Canta has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Son works to full guard.

Son has his foot on Canta's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Canta works his way back into a safe position though.
Canta must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Canta looking to sit in guard and control but Son gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Canta has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Son is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Canta.
Canta is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Canta takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Son has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Canta is working to avoid the ground and pound but Son connects with a decent elbow.

Son has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Canta is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Son yanks on the arm and Canta is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Son.
