Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Raskolnikof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Raskolnikof!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Sparrow!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sparrow feints and as Raskolnikof raises his hands in defense, Sparrow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sparrow decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Raskolnikof takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Raskolnikof just misses with a punch to the body.
Raskolnikof swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sparrow counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Sparrow breaks from the clinch.

Sparrow has managed to clinch.
Sparrow looking to stall.
A short left from Sparrow.
Raskolnikof gets through Sparrow's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Raskolnikof blocks a body shot from Sparrow.

Vladimir Raskolnikof seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sparrow has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Raskolnikof regains guard immediately.
Raskolnikof on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Raskolnikof tries to get out of the position.

Sparrow seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Sparrow throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Raskolnikofs head.
Raskolnikof lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sparrow gets through Raskolnikof's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Sparrow lands a nice knee to the body.
Raskolnikof is breathing heavily.

Sparrow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Sparrow counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Raskolnikof avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sparrow, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sparrow's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sparrow duly obliges.
Horrible takedown by Sparrow or perhaps it was just good defense by Raskolnikof which made him look bad.
Sparrow throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Raskolnikof throws a predictable looking body shot
and Raskolnikof takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Sparrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raskolnikof swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Raskolnikof knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sparrow on the ground.
Sparrow is looking to work some ground and pound but Raskolnikof has wrist control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sparrow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Raskolnikof ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sparrow moves away.

Sparrow fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Raskolnikof looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Sparrow scores with a crisp jab that stopped Raskolnikof in his tracks.
Sparrow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Raskolnikof avoids it really well and circles away.

Raskolnikof takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Sparrow hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Sparrow lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Raskolnikof breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sparrow is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sparrow feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Raskolnikofs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sparrow pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Raskolnikof back to the cage. Sparrow follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Sparrow lands with an uppercut that bounces Raskolnikof off the cage and back into range.


Raskolnikof is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sparrow! Raskolnikof is out on his feet! Sparrow rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Raskolnikof is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Raskolnikof is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Sparrow!
Jack Sparrow took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Jack Sparrow...Captain Jack Sparrow'.
