The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takala looks to land a right hand but Mcbane moved out of range.
Takala misses with an uppercut

Takala throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takala misses the shot to the body.
Takala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mcbane moves away.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mcbane is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Mcbane throws a strike but Takala rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mcbane pulls Takala in close to prevent any damage.
Mcbane is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mcbane wants to sweep here but Takala controlling him for the moment.

Takala postures up in Mcbane's guard and throws a big left but Mcbane blocks it.

We're going to have a standup here because Lorenzo Mcbane wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Mcbane lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Mcbane.

Mcbane is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Takala knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Takala for a finish.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Mcbane! Takala is hurt baaadly! Mcbane is firing away with more strikes - Takala is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
