Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mahmed Salidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauni Tuulikki Kukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rauni Tuulikki Kukkonen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rauni Tuulikki Kukkonen!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukkonen drops Salidov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Salidov looks back up at him and smiles so Kukkonen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Salidov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kukkonen throws out the jab.
Salidov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Salidov is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Salidov is stalling here. Kukkonen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Salidov seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kukkonen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Salidov is looking for a sweep.
Kukkonen tries to move to mount but Salidov blocks the move with his legs.
Salidov striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kukkonen wants to control but Salidov is keeping him busy.
Salidov gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kukkonen seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Salidov is holding on tight.
Salidov is trying to escape the mount.
Kukkonen looking to control but Salidov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Salidov is trying to stand up.
Salidov wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Kukkonen working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Salidov is doing well to defend. Kukkonen seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Salidov is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rauni Tuulikki Kukkonen!
Rauni Tuulikki Kukkonen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
