Bean comes to the cage accompanied by Real American. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cooper doesn't seem bothered though.

Bean looking to score a takedown here. Cooper is defending well but Bean drives through and ends up in Cooper's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cooper can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bean drops back looking for a leg! Cooper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cooper manages to kick Bean off! Bean jumps back into Cooper's guard.

Bean postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cooper is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bean, into his guard.
Cooper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bean looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cooper is defending well. Bean quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cooper has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bean celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

After the fight, Butter Bean was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
